In 2012, the company acquired a niche manufacturer in the sustainable agriculture segment. With this acquisition, leaders at Bayer knew they needed to increase brand awareness within the distribution channel as well as the grower and end-user populations. The market for biological control products is rapidly emerging yet its still very new within many crop protection segments.
Together, Stratagon and Bayer designed an extensive mobile experience targeting growers and key accounts across 11 states. The mobile experience was built around a customized 38’ trailer enhanced with video, interactive lab experiments and an onboard scientist. The Bayer Mobile Marketing Tour made stops at key industry events, distributor locations, and extension and research farms.
