[Abigail:]

Hey there! Welcome to SUM IT UP: Episode 10. I’m Abigail.

[Ryan:]

And I’m Ryan.

If you’ve been tuning in for the past year, you know we have covered A LOT of smart, useful marketing tactics to keep your strategies moving forward.

[Abigail:]

And if you’re finding us for the first time, welcome! This is the perfect episode to catch up on everything we’ve covered and then find the videos and blogs you need right now.

So, let’s get started! Take it away, Ryan.

[Episodes 1-3]

[Ryan:]

As marketers, we have to be able to prove the profitability of our marketing efforts. Most likely, the #1 question you are asked from your company’s C-Suite has to do with sales generated from your marketing campaigns.

It’s no surprise, right? Because at the end of the day, marketing exists to boost the company’s bottom line.

That’s why we kicked off our Sum It Up series focusing on all things Marketing Attribution. If you need a refresher on how to track ROI across channels and decide on the best attribution models for your business, Episodes 1-3 will point you in the right direction!

[Abigail:]

Man, that seems like such a long time ago. We even covered information about the latest social platform at the time – Clubhouse. Is that even still a thing? But it just shows how quickly things move in marketing.

[Episodes 4-5]

[Abigail:]

Next, we spent time focusing on LEAD GENERATION.

We all need a lead gen refresher from time to time. It’s easy to get bogged down strategizing for huge lead gen efforts. But there are simple things we can put into place to keep leads rolling in for our sales teams.

Episodes 4 and 5 cover ways to generate new leads, tools that should be in your marketing toolbox, and tips for working smarter – not harder – when it comes to gathering prospects. Set yourself up for success by watching (or re-watching) these episodes as you kick off the new year.

[Episodes 6-9]

[Ryan:]

So far, we’ve covered how attribution lets us see the effectiveness of our marketing dollars and how lead generation keeps prospects in the pipeline for sales. But if all of this data goes into a sloppy database, it’s not useful.

So, it only makes sense that our next topic would be DATA QUALITY.

It’s a big topic and we covered A LOT. But to give you a quick overview, we shared:

If these are topics you’re looking for now, check out Episodes 6-9.

[Abigail:]

Whew! We packed so much into 9 episodes! And I know there’s so much more that we’re looking forward to covering in 2022.

[Ryan:]
